This pet is actually sold by a goul named Slimy. He is on the main floor next to Amal'thazad (to his left as you are facing him). He is east along the ring from the portal that takes you to upper floor.

Note: Until you have all of the pre-requisites, you will not see anything on the vendor.

As I discovered by being silly... if snowfang doesn't offer the battle up... chances are, you already have it. I was major confused but later on looked and sure enough, I already had it, but forgot I ever did it. lol

I was thinking this would be a rare to get pet... after 30 minutes of poking mounds on my druid and hunter last night, while competing with the 70,000 people on Mal'ganis, I had 6 of them.

Then, this morning, a guildie sent me a tell saying he got 20 overnight. When I last checked the AH prices had already tanked.

If you are trying for one and having a hard time due to competition... there is always the cheap AH alternative from the looks of it.

I love this little guy! I have 3 rare 25s and use them as my go-to leveller regardless of what I am fighting. He can decimate beasts in a heartbeat!

I use the Harpy and Rotten Little Helper pets as my primary leveling pets when I am killing crap in the zones. I find that the rotten helper is great for beast and dragonkin, the harpy is just a damn fine little work-horse... so to speak. :P
