Finally found a rare as a second to a worg pup after months of killing everthing in Howling fjord. Was to the point I thought I was going to have to waste one of my Flying stones on the uncommon I had already. Tried the turkeys in Vanguard with nothing but Poors and commons comming up. So glad this one is done now all that's left to farm as a rare is Artic Fox Kit bring on the snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Do these come in ant other breed besides B/B? Having such bad luck finding a rare that I figured i just stone an uncommon if i could find the right breed but seems all I catch are B/B. Don't have Tom Tom add so I'm going a little nuts here.

update: After posting this went back to fighting pretty much any pet that was flagged. Finally just outside An'daroth lvl3 Larva tagged itand low and behlod it was a rare @ 12:44 pm est on Thunderhorn. Thank goodness that's done! :-)

Finally she is mine, common quality but will stone asap. She is a H/H breed  so I'm happy. Found her outside the unbound thicket just west of the sunreaver command ( Crytalsong forest 66.7, 47.5), at 4pm est on Thunderhorn. Was riding from spawn site to spawn site on a whim that I might get lucky and there she was took six rounds to have her in the cage I was praying all the while that she won't kill herself, But luckily she behaved herself. Yay,Snoopy dance!! Stone to rare done.

Finally after months of trips to Andorhal and killing everything in site I nab my  rare. Just before I gave up tonight I stopped by and read all your comments and realized that most of you caught your rares out side the city as seconds upon trying this I found my new baby on my third pass at Dolson's Farm as a second to a black rat on Thunderhorn at 12:ooam est. Hope this helps someone and happy hunting to all. Oh and thanks to everyone who leaves a comment they really do help!!!!!

Finally got mine today on thunderhorn @1:15 am est next to the stairs leading up to QA40. After camping this pet for four days and not even able to click one of the few that were spawning i was willing to take anything that came up and bam rare first try. The hotfix has defenatly help they seem to be spawning every 5 0r 10 minutes 3 to 5 at a time. Was sadden to see that some were running around farming for a rare and killing everything under an uncommon. Sevan I totally agree with you.

Got mine this morning when a friend and i went out the isle to see what we could get after just 2 kills one dropped from the primal direhorn we rolled and to my extreme suprise I won the roll. So we set out to get one for him and after about 8 more kills of primal and hatchlings a second one dropped for him, again off of a primal. I think this seems to be the key the drop rate is way better off the big guys! We also managed to get my direhorn training book and a ankleripper for him since I have them all already.

It's snowing in storm peaks now 10:33pm est 12/16/12 just got my Fox Kit in plain of echoes by camp Tanka'lo. Hope this is helpful to someone. Happy hunting!!!!  :-)

Just picked up two using critter kill method in and around Everlook . Started by just killing robo critters in Everlook and made several passes with no luck, then to waste time while critters in town spawned again started to kill all robo around town as while 1/2 way through my first pass one popped right in front of me and it was an uncommon made another pass to see if I could get a rare and 2nd one spawned in town only a poor though but now I'll know for next. hope this helps.
