Picked up some smoked elderhorn from an npc at Felbane Camp flightpath. After killing the matriarch, I ran around and finally found the orphaned hatchling at 32,28.  I had already finished the world quest so that is not a factor.  Good luck!

Talked to a GM yesterday and she said that summer starts the same time as IRL summer.  So expect this around June 21st.  :P

So many people trying to get one and cross realm zones make this soooo very hard to get.  I was lucky and got one after a restart.  Poor quality.  After 3 more server restarts, I finally got a rare one!  I count myself very lucky!!
