Strange that this pet is not shown in pet journal if you don't own it (I expected it to be grey, but I can't find it at all).
Has anyone ever seen a male breed of this pet? I collect both genders, but all the val'kyrs I catch are female.. (I understand it's logical, but WarcraftPets.com says there are breeds 3 and 6 (male), not only 13 and 16 ones (female)).
I am starting to wonder if warcraftpets has made a mistake here...

EDIT: ok, found a male, so hunt for rare continues... :D
This pet has different colour varioutions. One of yellow-brownish and the other is more orange.
Has anyone seen a rare in the wild? I've been farming them for hours in cleared Mechagon dungeon, and only seen greens... :(
Just wanted to point two things:
1) You can catch him rare quality! yay
2) Sadly there are more breeds than warcraftpets.com lists.. :( So the hunt continues.. I hot P/B, H/S and H/B so far.
Whaaaat??? Awwwww :( :( :(
Though I understand that choosing RL is a priority, but I'm still a bit sad to lose such a member...
Good luck to You!
Not only this pet is NOT battle pet (You can't fight with it, level it), but it's also not tradable..
So beware and don't make the mistake like I did, spending lots of eggs on these bouquets, learning them and then finding out You can't cage them.. :-s
Plus, have in mind that a friend can't buy this pet for You. So You have to work by Yourself. If You don't have WoW subscription, don't worry. You can gather eggs with any low level character with veteran account (You can play without subscription).
Why is this a non-combat pet?? :O It's not a child. It looks like many other humanoid combat pets.. so.. WHY? :O
