I found that at the begining of November they could be found easily and pretty much anywhere in Winterspring, but not that its near the end of the month Ive been having trouble locating them in zone. But finally after 6 hours of farming I found my rare owl. Couldnt be happier :)

A beautiful addition to the cub collection. Personally my favorite of the bunch :D

@Lilic - Had the same thing happen to me this morning. I was about to log off for the night when I remembered my egg was due to hatch so I stayed up the 23min to see what was inside. When I told my guild mates what had hatched I think I recieved a few gealous comments. I on the other hand was sad it wasnt the pet version. Oh well, next egg!

I guess the Whelp gods were smiling on me today. Got the last 3 whelps I needed for my collection, this one being the last. 8hours of farming and one nice gesture to earn myself my very own Emerald Whelpling!

I was about to leave to let a fellow horde player take my place in farming the little beauty and on my way out decided for one last kill and there it was all shiny and just for me! I couldnt believe it and found that I was just staring at the screen in disbelief.

Went straight from getting my Azure (which took 7.5hours) to go farm this little beauty and it paid off! within an hour it finally dropped! Have been after this one for 9hours. Onto the last one! Hopefully the luck continues. Am 5hours into farming Emerald already. So worth all the time though. :)

Finally! After 7.5 hours of killing its all mine!! I was just about to move back to the Crimson Whelpling when it finally dropped! Was my last mob that I was going to kill and half way through it there it was! Now moving back onto Crimson to add to the accumulated 7.5hours. At least I go with a renewed sense of hope that they really do exsist!

Be persistant and you will eventually have your very own Whelpling to!

I was so excited to add the last cat I needed to obtain to my collection! Then I remembered it was a friends birthday and I knew she had been farming this one for a while. I desided to gift it to her and she was just as happy as I had been when I found it! I only had the one at that time but got my second the next morning!

Sometimes its just as satisfying to help another collector along and let them share in the joy of a new pet as it is to add a new pet to your own collection :D
