What a great way to obtain a pet. I Really enjoyed the questline and she (regardless of breed) will always be a favorite.

Got mine yesterday. Appearently very lucky. Only 150 fishing when started and 215 when caught. No lures and using Nat P. pole from Hinderlands quest. He was in the little lake in the Townlong Steppes in one of the pools for the Fish of the Day. I did not expect it at all, just figured If I'm going to level it anyway might as well do it where I have a chance at a pet.

Anyway just so you know, Skill level in fishing does not seem to matter. At least not in my case.

I was really suprised by how good this pet is. I'm using an H/H version as part of one of my PvP teams and he's very solid. I use Poison Fang, Huge Fang, and Slither and he stands up great to just about anything and is able to dish out really decent damage even without being a 'P'ower breed.

No finesse here just real strong contender when the bout turns into a slugfest.

Went and got him last Saturday (still waiting for the egg to hatch). Had a rogue alt go get 10 ale which only took a few minutes. It only takes 2, but wanted enough for my wife and friends, etc. and 10 is the max you can buy at a go.

Anyway, I am guess that when you put down the first ale, that the quest must become visible to everyone in the area, because within moments of dropping it I was surrounded by toons. I thought it was funny. Anyway can't wait for the little bugger to hatch.

Suprised to see no comments on this pet. Granted I've not used other snakes so maybe they are all the same. I use a fast breed quite often in critter fights and he seldom dissapoints. He has the poison dot, burrow, and a speed debuff. Love using burrow to cath other tunnelers.

I'm a big fan of this pet. I use him as an opener against the Thundering Spirit Tamer. I use Spiked Skin, Posioned Fang, and Powerball. The combo is great against the opening spirit beast. I've not used him in too many other situations yet, but I went from dreading that tamer fight to taking it as a given once I added this guy to the line up.

BTW: I generally follow him with a s/s snake and then finish off with anything tanky.

Spent yesterday leveling some pets. Got this guy up to 24. He has easily earned a spot as a primary member of my main team.

As others have noted, etremely durable with decent damage. What's not to love?

I've had him a while now, Was leveling fishing on an alt and decidied why not do it where I had a chance to get him. Took 2 to 3 hours, but I was going to be leveling fishing anyway, so it worked out. Now that I've actually started using him, I see how well it worked out.

Got an uncommon in Zul'Drak at about 25, 64 at approx. 3:45am server time this morning. I'm on Cenarion Circle-US. Will be upgrading as soon as I land a stone. 

Woot. That ends a long boring week of on and off farming.
