Frankly, I think this is a really smart way of adding a little variety to pet battles without allowing any power creep - it's forcing more tactical play to earn these achievements, as opposed to bruteforce play.

I approve.

First year trying for this, and first year failing miserably, despite pugging it every single day.
Got two frostscythes though... pointless on my Elemental Shaman.

I'm in accord with Quintessence. This is a foolish way to dole out a reward.

It says it's BoA, so presumably one can grind up an alt in a guild that has the pet, and transfer it to your main?
