Looking at the locations on Wowhead, the 'Agitated Poultrid' shares spawns with 'Wild Poultrid'. As such, it may be worthwhile to kill the Wild Poultrid you come across in order to give them a chance to spawn as Agitated Poultrid.
Locations/Spawns do *not* seem to be related to 'Foraging Poultrid'.
"kibbles of 4, sets the time, of a 4/4 beat, and defines the lines"
'Defines the lines', to me, would make me think where the notes are on the page.
So what I would personally wonder is those 4 kibbles: where do they line up on a page? What's the music that they're outlining?
Every image of the kibbles I've seen are 'up and down' from one another, so if you set them on a page, what notes would they play?
These can be found as back line spawns in the water tunnels around Lady Ashvane, and very rarely as a primary spawn in the pools above her (I have only seen one so far).
At the moment, once Lady Ashvane is dead, you are dropped into a lower area and are completely unable ot backtrack. As such, getting these is going to be tricky at best!
I recommend bringing a stealth class and/or aggro-dropper; many of them are in and around mobs, making it very difficult to get to them!
These can be found as primary spawns in the pools above Lady Ashvane, before she is killed. And *ONLY* before she is killed.

It seems that with these, primary spawns always spawn as rare. Fortunately, as they seem to be primary only.

Easily the noisiest of the pets, not just in Nazjatar, but at all.
Whatever you do with them, they will screech seagull noises at you.
Idling around? Screech!
Summoned beside you? Screech!
Put in your party? Screech!
Get into a pet battle? Screech!
At random times in the pet battle? Screech!
Level up? Screech!
It's... more than slightly obnoxious at times.
And most ironically, they do *not* have a 'sound on click'!
In the phased Darkshire, Hermit Crabs spawn along the water to the south. They are level 3-5, and unlike the crabs in the new islands, can spawn in rare quality. I managed to pick up a blue quality after only a handful of fights. It'll take a lot more leveling up, but as long as you've got a creature who can strike them without killing them, you can get your rare fairly quickly (or comparitively quickly) with how many and how often they spawn.
If you happen across a Bleeder who you want to capture, before you kill anything in the battle, check the Bleeder's movelist.
If it has 'Burst' on the movebar, flee the battle and reengage. The moves will have shifted around, and eventually you will get to a point where 'Burst' is no longer there, and it can be captured.
For those wondering about whether 'Seek Knowledge' leads to anything....

As I was obsessed with these little fellows, I felt that it was worth bringing up Poro's 'real world' counterpart, an endangered New Zealand bird called the Kakapo:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kakapo
They are so endangered that every known living kakapo has a name.
In case you're curious, 'Poro' is not one of them, though the Māori word 'Poro' means 'Pocket'.
I *could* be wrong, but I am also suspecting pet XP may have been raised. Where at full buff, it took three battles with Squirt for level 25 before (even during Pet weekend), it's only taking 2 now. Battle 1 to level 19, 2 to 25.
Feel free to correct my memory on how much XP pets get from Squirt during a weekend if I'm wrong; I wouldn't want to get people's hopes up. However, nearly 14k pet XP, even during a pet weekend, definitely seems like more than she used to give!
Realized my comment was in error; I was in the wrong zone. It's no wonder I couldn't find any. :)

While the warning is that 'players must be level 110 to enter Suramar', I was able to come here at level 100. Mind you, all the enemies are level 110 (other than a few scaling rares) so expect to get your butt handed to you. However, if you're an obsessive collector the way I am, you can come and get these early.
Just be aware that you're essentially walking into an area completely filled with level 110 nerubians, including several elites. Being level 110 is probably the safest way to do it.

While they are not interactable to attack, if you click on them as you would a battle pet (right click) you're able to battle them normally.
Also, these sometimes spawn in groups of two and three. If they do, and you leave one of the group up, then when the second (or second and third) respawn (taking a couple minutes or so), they will *always* respawn as battle pets, thus allowing for constant grinding of them until you get your rare fawn.
These pets are found as part of 'primary battles' in the Dalaran Sewers. Catching one might be difficult, as it's possible to get attacked while you're fighting *and* they can be killed by other people. Best to make sure you do your battling when the guards are up, or even better, right after you have gotten a bodyguard (to make sure you have the maximum amount of time).
Fighting a Blind Rat group gives 75 Sightless Eyes in addition to te usual XP and potential pet capture, for the record
Mine was uncommon instead of rare. I suspect that they're having the 'random rarity' issue with these.
This creature apparently drops from the 'Stolen Present' gained from the Christmas daily: 'You're A Mean One'.
Be warned: the 'Frost Shock' ability, while the tooltip describes it as 'chilling' the enemy, does *NOT* apply the 'Chilled' status.
Compared to other rabbits, these are about half to a third the size. They are a tiny little speck on the screen, and at least to me, that makes them just utterly *adorable*.For fans of cute, I highly suggest these.
Last TCG pet gotten today with a lucky find of a Tuskarr Kite! Will be picking up the Hatchling as soon as I can, but for now, I believe I have every pet that I can possibly get at all whatsoever (without having to pay stupid prices for ebay collector's editions or unspent plushie pets).
