Got this as a backline pet while farming for the Shadowy Oozeling in the Unseeming.

Finally got one at the Thaldraszus location, nearly 2 hours of killing every battle pet and all critters using a macro, i.e. the vorquin, rabbits, flitters, crimsonspines in the surrounding area, including up on the higher area overlooking the location, I went north to the mob filled area with the water and killed 6 battle pets, when I flew back one had spawned, a rare :) 

Took me just under two hours of clearing every critter in the area and was just about to give up when it spawned, poor, but a stone sorted that.  Thanks for the posts re the macro, it helped - hard to spot them flying in the trees without it, also the spawning area mentioned was spot on when he eventually showed up.
