I found two level 1 pets. Didn't realize it until I accidentally one-shotted the first one :( 

After a sweep across almost all of Northrend, I got mine today in Howling Fjord around 71.42 -- 10:20 pm Hydraxis time. It was a green, but that's not terrible. :) Thanks for all the great info here -- the map really helped! 

Usually this stuff takes me 3-4 hours to farm. I sat down fully expecting to fish for a few hours (based on what others have said about getting him). Imagine my surprise when I got it in 30 casts! I almost fell out of my chair!

I found a nice quiet place by Cantrips & Crows and just fished for a while. He's definitely a HUGE rat! LOL :)

Took me about 3 hours or so. Took longer to get the firefly honestly.

I set my hearth to Light's Hope in EPL... started at Pestilent Scar then to Infectis Scar and then ran to WPL to the Weeping Caverns. Lather, rinse, repeat. Ended up getting it in Pestilent Scar.

Now I can be green and infectious too... LOL :)

A very cute pet! I love it's glow :) For the Sporeggar rep I did a combination of the naga killing quest and the hibiscus collecting. Ended up getting some off the AH when I got close to exalted.

I originally got this pet on my Alliance character I made back in 2005. I loved it - even though the quest chain was long. I switched to Horde in 2007. It always made me sad that Horde could not get it. When it became available I jumped on it. Took me about an hour and a half to farm in Feralas.
