Re: Terky
A ton of people were packed into the cave and had put up toys around where the egg was. I just kept mousing over all the toys on the ground until I found something click'able and there it was~ a horde of people too busy trying to distract each other they weren't paying attention...

Re: Bronze Whelpling
I nearly gave up on this one after 1500+ kills. However I hopped back over just to try for a few minutes and finally got mine. It was really frustrating since it looks like the drop rate is so high. But, stick with it...it's worth it.

Re: Hyacinth Macaw
After a total of about 10k (I saw one on AH after like 7k so I'm not entirely sure if my work paid off for someone else mid-way) it dropped! I spent almost the entire time killing Braddock and the Skullsplitter trolls in the southern part of STV. I think it's a really good place to farm, the drop rates are decent (Braddock 0.06% and the skullsplitters around 0.05%) and you can get a really good route going around where Braddock is that helps keep the pace.

I had a LOT of issues with these quests. The Hinterlands one glitched and I had to contact customer support to restart the quest. Then I still didn't get it and contacted them again, and they told me I never got the Feralas quest, which I know I did. For those of you who have issues, you're not alone. Contact customer support and if nothing else they can help tell you which quest you're missing.

I'm grateful Blizzard didn't re-skin this. This is a pet I've loved since it very first came out, and I was finally able to get it. yea, there's a lack of effort on their part, of course. But that's what Blizzard does. Either way, I got a pet I've been coveting since the beginning, and I'm really happy about it.

I agree with being slightly annoyed that this is not even a re-skin, but at the same time this gave me a chance to get a pet I didn't want to pay the store price for. One of the reasons I play the WoW TCG's over others is for the chance at pets/mounts. So in a way, Blizzard is sort of rewarding me for playing a game I would already wanted to play...it's the only TCG with co-op play, dungeons, and I love having cards that reflect the characters I know and love in game.

Re: Gregarious Grell
Since I play the TCG this guy was really easy to get out of a few packs. Going through new packs is kind of like farming in real life lol.

This was the third archaeology pet that came up for me. I was so excited! Definitely my favorite arch. pet. What continent you decide to farm will greatly depend on what you're trying to get out of arch. Generally I'd recommend Kalimdor, because of the Tol'vir artifacts. This is also a good place for Night Elf artifacts, whereas if you're looking for the other pets, I'd head to EK for the dwarf and troll artifacts.

This is such a cute little guy! All of the oracles speak like little children and it's so cute. So glad I got him from Children's week this year.

Re: Lurky
Unfortunately because you can buy EU special edition still on Ebay etc., I doubt Blizzard will ever "even out" the field by letting us U.S. collectors at this pet. Especially considering there are pets you had to log in on a certain date to get. So if you haven't been playing WoW for years, or happened to...I don't know, have real life interfere with the game you missed out and will NEVER get the chance to get that pet again. Just the way the game works unfortunately.:P

Re: Dark Whelpling
I had great success with farming the dark whelp in the Badlands. So far it dropped the quickest of all the whelps for me. Maybe that's just luck...but the Badlands has a fairly easy path to run.

Re: Azure Whelpling
To be perfectly honest everyone says this one is the easiest to farm of the whelps, and for me it was one of the harder ones. Maybe it was due to the fact that every time I went to farm it, other people were there. Bad luck I guess. The path around the lake is nice and easy, but I didn't find it any easier than the dark whelp and that took me a lot less time to get.

Finally got mine after what I'm guessing was about 500 kills or so. I didn't have anything to keep track. Swamp of Sorrows and the Mireglobs are definitely the way to go, and I'm so glad that everyone posted comments about that, as it helped me greatly. I got the pet just as someone else started farming the area too ^_^ So lucky I was able to loot it instead of the newcomer.
