i was getting the same error messsage when i tried to redeem him, but what i did was copy my code and just went to the bottom of my battle net page and clicked on redeem code and it went to a different page and i was able get my pet that way

I just got a rare one, on a brazilian server i have been using(Gallywix). it was 12am server time (11pm eastern), and there were tons of them up. Probably about 10-15.

Got my Minfernal today (Sunday) on the brazilion server Gallywix at 8:00am server time(7:00am eastern). Took me quite awhile looking on other realms, finally decided to level a dk and try this. Worked on the first day. Just waited until early morning and that did the trick.
