Blizzard's Cory Stockton (@mumper) just confirmed in a tweet that this little guy's not being immune to its own "Apocalypse" spell will be fixed in 5.2.0.

I had a pvp pet battle end in a draw yesterday because apocalypse killed both the last opponent pet and my Nether Roach.
