About Doralei88:

I've played World of Warcraft since vanilla.  It was 2004, and I was 16 years old when I set foot in Azeroth for the first time.  My first few pets were on an Alliance character.  I remember that a guild mate gave me my first pet, but I can't remember what it was.  I want to think it was engineering crafted.  I certainly remember being in awe of anyone who had a Hyacinth Macaw at that time.  And, oh, the fun of getting that Westfall Chicken, back when it was called "Prairie Chicken".  :D

When The Burning Crusade released I made the switch to Horde and created Doralei.  She's been played through every expansion since then and has been my main collector.  I remember farming for the Firefly in Zangarmarsh.  So... many... fireflies....  And I hated that I didn't get a collector's edition of the expansion for that cute Netherwhelp.

I became a serious collector in Wrath of the Lich King, but if you look hard enough you'll see I still didn't manage to get the collector's edition Frosty.  LOL!

Playing since vanilla I can say that pet collecting has been a fun, ever-evolving ride.  I hope there will be many, many more pets to come in the future.
