Patch 11.1.7 is live this week, and there are two new battle pets! [source]

Two new pets, Flotsam Harvester and Lil' Daz'ti (pictured above), will be purchasable during the Battle for Azeroth Weekly Event. Players can buy these two pets for 2200 Timewarped Badges each from Churbro in either Boralus (Alliance) or Dazar'alor (Horde).

A special event, Turbulent Timeways, is getting update, so there will be a set rotation for Timewalking. Things kick off with Battle for Azeroth, making both new pets available right at patch release!

Timewalking rotation for Patch 11.1.7:

• Week 1: Battle for Azeroth
• Week 2: Mists of Pandaria
• Week 3: Burning Crusade
• Week 4: Warlords of Draenor
• Week 5: Legion
• Week 6: Classic
• Week 7: Battle for Azeroth

Summer Sale 2025

Blizzard's annual Summer Sale has begun! [source]

From now until June 30, 2025, almost all Blizzard Store battle pets are 50% off. Take advantage of this sale if you're looking to complete your collection or gift some store pets to friends and family!

The Springtime Pet Pack offers a total of 19 store pets, which includes two new pets, Fyrn and Whoopy. Those that already own some of the pets included in the bundle will be able to purchase the Pet Pack at a discounted price. This special bundle is available for only a limited time, ending May 7, 2025.

Fyrn and Whoopy can be purchased separately from the Blizzard Store, and will still be available once the Springtime Pet Pack deal ends.

Pet Trivia: Fyrn shares the same model as Cypress in Classic, while Whoopy shares the same model as Swoopy in Classic. Fyrn and Whoopy can only be summoned in Retail, and their counterparts are only available in Classic.

Upcoming Events and Pets
Multiple new pets won't be available at the start of Patch 11.1.5, and we'll have to wait for certain in-game events.

Children's Week

This in-game holiday is getting updated and it includes a few new pets! Collect Goggles and Helpful Workshop Bot (pictured right) from the event. Argos is not currently listed in the Pet Journal, but might also be from Children's Week.

This year's Children's Week runs from April 28 to May 5, 2025. Check out our Pet Events Calendar for a full list of pets available from this event.

Horrific Visions Revisited
Beginning May 20, players will be able to dive into an alternate, corrupted version of Stormwind and Orgrimmar. Battle creatures, clear objectives, all before the sanity bar runs out.


Each section of the city within the scenario will have a chest at the end that has a chance to drop one of the new battle pets pictured above.

Players can also earn Displaced Corrupted Mementos from the corrupted scenarios to purchase Scourge of the Aspects from new Horrific Visions vendors.

Dastardly Duos

Collect Spicy Mean-Ball (pictured right) from a new limited time in-game event, Dastardly Duos. Battle against bosses of old and earn rewards. A weekly quest will be available each week the event is active, and the pet will be rewarded from Week 3's quest.

Dastardly Duos runs from June 3 to July 15, 2025. Learn more about this new event from Wowhead's Dastardly Duos Event Guide.

New Twitch Drop Pet
To celebrate Patch 11.1.5's release, a new battle pet will be available from a Twitch Drop! [source]

Starting April 22 until May 20, 2025, watching WoW content on Twitch for at least 4 hours will reward Beetriz (pictured above). Be sure to connect your Twitch account to your Bnet account to ensure eligibility.

Sign-ups have begun for the Pet Battle PVP Tournament Season 2. [source]

This player-created and hosted Pet Battle tournament is back for Season 2. Sign-ups are currently open, no entry fee required, with sign-ups ending on March 27^th.

The start of Season 2 officially kicks off on March 28^th.

Bring your strongest battle pet teams and compete against other players to win fun prizes!

• Grand prize is a custom trophy
• Top four get to pick from an additional prize pool
• All competitors will receive a custom enamel pin (artwork pictured right)

The Blizzard Gear Store has a new limited time promotion that rewards a new bronze murloc pet!

From March 10, 2025 to March 31, 2025 purchasing any World of Warcraft product from the Blizzard Gear Store will come with a bronze murloc digital pet code.
