I completed the achievement today - no pet received in Bag, Mail or Journal. So currently appears to be bugged.A comment theme we're seeing with Blizzard currently, ticket made

I completed the achievement and did not recieve the pet. I submitted a ticket and was told it is a known issue and is due to be fixed in a future patch.

The World Quests you need to complete to get the achievement only appear when you are in War Mode.

 

Additionally, progress toward achievement is shared across all your characters. So if you complete a quest on your main and then again on your alt, you'll receive credit for 2 out of the 5 required completions.
