Rikki is a reward from the updated Recruit-A-Friend program (relaunched October 2019).
Recruiters will unlock this reward after their recruit applies at least one month of game time to their RAF account. Recruiters can claim Rikki immediately once eligible; the pet is added directly to the Pet Journal.

Just tested this. Had an old base game code from a previous black friday sale I bought for RAF reward purposes. If you only want the pet and not more rewards the following steps can get you this. With black Friday coming up figured this may be useful
Sent a raf invite to a second Bnet account I have.
Created a account on that which is a button from the new RAF link,
made a character on the account and logged in ( this step may not be needed)
Applied code to the account
Got pet in 5 mins later
