To lower the barrier that surrounds the Cache of the Night, players must create a Fae Dreamcatcher. This requires 3 items:
Vs. 
Undead
Vs. 
Humanoid
Flying
50% from Mechanical abilities
33% from Humanoids abilities
When a full moon is visible, streaks of hair on the dreamfoal's mane start to shimmer and glow like shooting stars.
Just got mine last night, He is pretty cute. Finding the parts for the dreamcatcher was the most trying. The enchanted bough was the most well hidden - probably because you don't have to fight anyone to get to the location. Look under the chair platform in the ampitheater, it's hidden in the weeds. A casual glance won't reveal it, you almost have to be standing on top of it.
When we got to the cache, we could not see it. Logging off for two minutes, then logging on fixed it.
Just got mine. I love him.
**note** When I got there, the chest wasn't there. I exited the game and then logged back in and it was.So adorable and on occasion it's horn sparkles! =) I'm not sure if any of the other versions of this pet do it as well, but this one sure does and I love it! It seems to happen roughly every 5 minutes and last for about 10 seconds. It also does make a fair bit of noise while out, but for me personally, it hasn't been bothersome.
It's so loud. It will constantly whinny and it seems louder than anything else in the game. It's super cute but, i'm going crazy.
