The heart of an arctic hare beats twice as fast as a common hare.
S/S breed is really good for PVE. In particular the Stratholme dungeon is full of undead boss bets. Rabbits and hares also work surprisingly well against magic pets due to the tick damage provided by stampede.
I grinded 3 S/S hares/rabbits for a PVP team, but it's in PVE these cuties really shine.
Bunnies are underrated.
@Zaythan Good advice. This rabbit may have more speed but vs undead pets which tend to be pretty slow you don't tend to need more then 325 so you might as well have the extra damage.
  I have had success with rabbits in pvp, they are helpful against all the undead I run into. in my opinion this rabbit is not the best for that. I have a Grasslands cottontail that has 260 power/325 speed in the S/S version versus 227/357 (lvl25 rare) with this one. i'm sure i'll face a faster critter eventually, but for now ,even at the lower speed my cottontail is always first and hits harder than the other rabbits. Â
Definately not to be taken for granted; with tunneling ability hits hard and avoids an attack; with dodge, avoids another two, and triple strike in between causes constant damage, whittling away opposition hp. All this and critters are immune to stun and snare effects. Always able to take down Darkmoon Tonk, after Nexus Whelp took out the Eye, and would give the cheating monkey a good slap before Robobear finished him. So don't take that bunny for granted!
Rare H/B Arctic Hare appeared as an extra in a fight with a Dragonbone Hatchling. 65.2, 52.7, Dragonblight. Server - Draenor EU, 15.00CET. After over one hour of farming Dragonblight Hatchlings, this one was the first additional rare pet that appeared. Best breed of these to get are the S/S breed however. They are in the top 20 list of Best Battle Pets for the Speed Category. :)
Just got my 2nd rare bunny in coldaara within 10 minutes of pet battles...
I got mine in the Borean Tundra. You can find them randomly throughtout the zone. They normally battle with the Tundra Penguin and the borean marmot. Pretty easy pet to get :)
It's a white bunny.
No more or less exciting than any other bunny.
That is to say, it's a relatively boring pet in average hands - though a skilled player can make a rabbit horrifically annoying to play against.Found a rare at the bottom of the stairs from the Hall of Lightning
I've been flying around Storm Peaks on two separate occasions now, seen Arctic Hares below, landed to battle and they phase out right in front of my face. Anybody else had this problem?
Found my rare and a Rare Strand Crawler as adds on Dragonbone Hatchlings just SW of Wyrmrest Temple.
Can this guy be found in the storm peaks? Not sure about that info.
These can be somewhat difficult to find because they are pretty spread out across multiple zones. However, they can spawn as an additional pet in battles as well. For instance, while fighting Dragonbone Hatchlings I was able to capture 3 Rare Arctic Hares. Also, Dragonbone hatchlings are great for leveling pets! ...just my 2 cents :)
