FYI if ppl are still having trouble getting him for a while, the blossoming ancient in the store has an extremely similar set of moves incl. (Ironbark/Photosynthesis/Sunlight) and stats and the two can usu be switched for each other in any given strategy with a sun team.

I have been planting and harvesting every three days for a year and have yet to have this pet drop - I'm throwing away the other one left and right. I've read the comments and there seems to be nothing special that needs to be done, but please, if I have happened to miss something please let me know.

I have been trying to get this pet on my lvl 110 druid. Each time I logged on I would hit the grove to collect my items. About 1-2 weeks ago one of my 2 soil patches stopped working. The one that produces the Grove Vine. Now the second soil patch has stopped working. Each time I log in I cannot radial either soil patch. Has this happened to any of you?

Druid Class Hall pet.

'Ironbark' + 'Photosynthesis' + 'Sunlight' = Great tanking pet. You could also use 'I am Broot!' for an additional heal+damage.

This pet works well with a sunlight team in pvp.

you need to be level 105 to get this pet (one of two druid pets) and choose class hall trait Evergreen which then allows you to plant and harvest plants which could contain your pet :)

This guy is a monster.

I just went to a pvp pet battle with him using Ironbark, Photosynthesis and Sunlight.

In my party I had two other pets. The two other pets died relatively quickly, even my magical crawdad, which usually is really tanky.

I used Sunlight on cooldown, kept Photosynthesis up and used Ironbark as a filler and managed to defeat the enemy two remaining pets.

I'll bet this pet was created for all those people complaining about the "Pay to Win" pet battles. It very closely matches the Blossoming Ancient. But it is awesome looking! You can even plant it in your back row and let it heal up.
