really hope they do give players who didnt happen to be playing or online during this event a way to get this pet. I hate this pet so much right now. a complete slap in the face to anyone who spent the time and effort to get Baa'l. right now I feel very much angst toward Blizz...oh well...sigh lol.../rant off.

cant believe i missed this one by a couple days. I really wanted it. Its like the Vampiric Bat all over again.
If anyone is getting the "player is not eligible" loot bug when attempting to trade for this pet and you're only receiving gold on the kills. I highly suggest turning off addons, relogging and killing yourself. This fixed the issue for me as well as for another player.
Not cagable. The pet is unique but the item it is learned from can drop for people who already have the pet, and those people are supposed to be able to trade it with people who participated in the same kill. Unfortunately for some reason both people who have tried to give me the pet (from two seperate kills) have recieved an error message saying I'm not eligible, no idea why as I definitely haven't learned it, it's not in my bags, and I participated in the fight.
Okay 3 goblins in I got him. I would recommend going to wowhead. They have a very accurate timer of when they spawn. You have to go to their info on it, it won't show on the main page. So when its time in the city you're at. Hit the Map button a golden portal will appear, this is the spawn point of the goblin. Fly there. Hit it GOOD LUCK!!
Drop chance is pretty high 5-6 drops out of 20 Treasure goblins killed.
Have interactivity - will whisper some unsettling things to you from time to time.
Moveset is pretty silid with Murder the Innocent against bosses and Stampede/Hatred manifest combo.
Do we know if it is sellable/tradeable?
It seems that we do need to kill treasure goblins. I just happened on one in Org and another player got the pet drop, I got a few cosmetic items, another got a 36 slt bag.
Yep, RNG is super crappy so I'm never getting this :(
Note seems to be incorrect - it says this starts May 5th, 2023, but checking Wowhead for "A Greedy Emissary" says the event doesn't start until May 25th.
It's from an upcoming in game event. No need to purchase d4 :)
Do anyone know if we will need to purchase Diablo IV to get this pet?
