Umbral Amalgam

Seems I am not the only one trying to find Umbral Amalgam and cannot find. Been trying 3 times a day for the last week during dark time and have never seen one. Is there something i am not doing or am i missing something. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Thank you Jehenna, I followed your advice when I was constantly getting the same pets at a diff location flew over and caught him right before the void stage ended... so that was at the shore right where you gave the way points of 46, 32. Thank you so much. I didn't even check his quality or type before I restarted as I had to heal my pets, but it is a H/B and is now blue and 25.

Finally found as a frontline at 46, 32.  Had to forfeit a few times before void portal was not on his skill bar! 

I have engaged in tons of fights on dark phase on many toons and fly all over hallofall, never seen one as frontline or backline, this is rediculuous!

Found as a frontline pet at 45.62, 32.18. Checked area within minutes of the Umbral phase starting, did not have to wait for it to spawn. 

I look a couple void phases each day and never see any as front or backline pets, I think the problem persists.

This is the only pet I need for Khaz Algar Safari Achievement. I have spent hours looking for it and can't find one.

I think patch 11.0.5 broke the spawn of this pet. Can anyone confirm finding one after patch 11.0.5? I just want to know if I am wasting my time looking, it feels like I am. If it gets fixed please let us know.

I have spent 8-10 void phases, trying to find this fellow... Checked all backline pets for all possible enounters in the 30 minute window. I have never ever seen it..

Is anything besides void phase needed? A specific renown? A buff? Anything?

It's the only pet I need for Safari achievement.

Found as backline from a chicken at the Aegis wall farm

Found as Backline pet behind Azure Flickerfly at 70.39/45.28 by Captain Trueflame

Found one at Lorel's Crossing as secundary, fighting a Arathi Chicken at 48.8/38.3 Zone HallowFall.

A good place to find them is 56,43 just outside the cave entrance. There are several pets that respawn quickly and it will sometimes be a backline pet.

Watch out for the void portal, it will kill itself with it. Best to check if it has the void portal ability, and if it does, surrender and re-engage until it doesn't.
