Primary responsibilities include dusting Medivh's many magical artifacts, an activity which has claimed the life, sanity, or physical composition of the many caretakers preceding Moroes.
I prefer H/P breed over the darkmoon tonk for using shock and awe and the ion cannon, also a consistant damage means i don't need to think about RNG if i will kill something or need another round i know its a fixed damage. You just get more power and less speed - and the tonk is not exactly relied upon being faster.
Nice gentle fella.
I think H/P and H/H are his best breeds, because H/S only gives him 273 speed, only with Overtune does it (barely) give him the edge.
I tend to prefer slow and steady, so i usually use Zap + Shock and Awe, to get their health down and try to finsih it with Ion Cannon.
They could have made him a bit bigger though, because its kinda puny compared to the Sunblade and Sunreaver.
Other than that, its a nice pet to have around.
One of my favorite pets to have following me around due to the pleasantly-voiced-Curator comments he occasionally emits. Battle-wise, however, he is a bit of a glass cannon - he packs a punch but will go down quickly as well. There are Mech pets with access to the same abilities and better stats (like the Yeti or the Tonk.)
Boosting his speed allows him to get in Shock + Cannon. However after that he's dead. The enemy likely isn't. Hits hard, hard to kill, stuns himself without finishing off most enemies. The Mechanical Yeti is a much stronger choice of almost the same pet.
I find him to be a very powerful pet. Often use him to finish off a fight. Ion Canon can be devestating, especially against pets where its damage is increased. If it doesn't kill the opposing pet though it can leave you vulnerable for a couple of rounds.
Nice to exp:)all skill for Beast
The graphics look amazing, use him to kill the beast. Thats it.
This is my favorite mech pet and I named him Ray in honour of a custodian who worked at my alma matter. I have the H/H breed and while he's not as strong as other mechs, Shock & Awe and Ion Cannon are plenty powerful enough to blow up opposing beasts. Can't remember how many runs it took to get him, but it wasn't too many. He only dropped once for me though.
Got this fellow after quite a few runs through Kara... but well worth the farm. Smokes a lot of the other mechanicals! And his vocalizations just crack me up.
This guy is great for 2 shoting epic beast battle pets from the trainers great farmer pet ta power lvl lower pets with and doing it with some flashy graphics ion cannon is epic looking =) got breed 6 first attempt in Kara when it came out
Part of me is sad that he keeps quoting the Curator, since otherwise he could be a good stand-in for a Kirin Tor Golem (to be the counterpart of the Sunreaver Micro-Sentry).
got this guy first run, after a while he said "The Menagerie is for guests only" so cute...
While standing around he said : Do Not Touch The Displays!
This cute little guy was good enough to drop in my first trip back to Karazhan to collect the newest pets.
I really want this guy. I've killed him on 5 toons so far on release date and still no luck. Also no luck on the other 3 new Kara pets.
This lil guy just scared me. As i stood there contemplating how to solo chess, I heard in a higher pitch voice "You are not a guest."
Very cute got him onn my 2nd run through kara he also talks. Will be one of my team members
